I found this elven artifact in Exalted Plains that I cannot activate. It sure looks like one, and this map I found online marks it as an artifact. I wonder if this is related to the fact that I have never gotten Solas's quest once you activate 10 artifacts? And I know I have activated way more than that.
It's a bit north and east of the Riverwatch Camp, up on the slopes.
Yea I found the same thing. I can't activate this artifact. Solas never says anything about the artifact being around, and its grayed out. Did I miss something or is this a bug?
Was just gonna post about this. Yeah, I have the same problem. Glad someone else has screen shots. I play on the XBone and only have crappy pics on my phone.
For what it's worth, I also found the elven artifact in this location and could not activate it on the PC. I think it's just broken across the board across all platforms.
First run through it worked. Just started a new character and it doesn't work anymore. PS4
Now if EA had allowed a toolkit like previous games, the modding community would have fixed a lot of these bugs.
Edit–Solution:
It appears this has to be triggered with the 'first' artifact which occurs in the Hinterland. Near Crossroads (East/right) and not far (2o'clock) from the fist camp Outskirts Camp, there's a cave with an Elf in front. Enter the cave with the elf and it triggers the 1st Artifact. Don't know if Solas has to be in the group or not.
