I know. I'm at that point in the game. Is it possible to choose custom appearance and make hawke female? Or is it make by default because maybe my tapestry wasn't updated originally? I assumed custom would give me a female option but it does not.

Not true regarding sex of Hawke at beginning of game state. The sex of Hawke was set in my tapestry prior to starting game and still switched. Seems like they should be able to fix by adding sex to the customization. A few other things were off (wrong) as well. It was a nice try.
