Progress-Halting Glitch in "Lost in Dreams"

In the quest "Lost in Dreams," I have found the mouse form, and cleared the area of enemies, and according to walkthroughs, I should be able to use the pedestal to move to another area of The Fade. However, the pedestal has not unlocked the other areas of the fade I should be able to move to. I can therefore not progress in this quest. Is there some way of fixing this? A console command, perhaps? I have no mods installed.
