(PS4) Can't load save file. Not detecting DLC.

So I tried to load a save file and received the following message:

"Unable to load save file as required.
Downloadable content is missing. Please check your download list and download the content again.

Flames of the inquisition weapons
The black emporium."

Restarted system, nothing.
So I downloaded them... But that didn't fix anything.
So then I deleted then re-installed (via disk) and then also installed the DLC again... Still nothing.

Any ideas?

Yep, I am getting the exact same problem. Just started happening today

Edit: I've tried everything and I still can't play any character but the one I created today. Genuinely not sure where this glitch could have came from

    I have the same problem.

I don't understand how this just suddenly started I was playing the game fine no problems then I went off for about 3 hours and now it won't load any of my recent saves.

  • You have to be connected to the internet and logged in to the PSN to load your files (don't ask me why, I'm having the same problem and have posted here already without any feedback :womanmad🙂

Once your file has loaded you can then disconnect from the internet if you wish and carry on the game as normal.  If you quit, you'll have to go through the same procedure.  Pretty annoying because if your internet is down for whatever reason you won't be able to access your save files (the ones after BE add-on).

I am connected to the internet. I don't think that has anything to do with it at all

Did some searching and found the workaround someone posted before. it works for me. Hopefully it works for you too.

    What I did

    1. Make sure you have the black emporium DLC installed: In my case, I deleted and re-installed the game, so I end up only having the black emporium DLC in my ps4

    2. Start a new game

    3. During the new game, go to the load screen and press the squared button to switch back to my old character.

    4. Select one of the save file and the game loads successfully.

So glad I can continue playing because my hero is so close to band Cassandra 😕mileytongue:

    Hi,

    this worked for me.

go to settings, ps network/account management and restore your licenses.

if it is on secondary account, go to that account and do the above. you should be able to login on your main account after that.
