You may try to up the health limit and see if it makes a difference...raise it to 40-50% range. At higher levels your companions can take a bunch of damage real quick and 20% if fairly low in some cases.

I've tried that. I'm at level 17 but it's like I'm beginning the game - two hits from a level 15 and I'm dead before I can react. Don't know what's going on but it's getting frustrating!
Hmm, I would look at your armor and specs....
Are you running any Berserk on your weapons or armor?? Gives 10% bonus damage, but increases damage taken by 100%.
What armor rating do you have?? What skills are you using?? Things such as Barrier, and Guard are almost required, unless you are avoiding all damage with a rogue with stealth or the Ice Potion from Tempest.
And if 2 hits are killing your guys, then yeah, you will not have time to have them pop a health potion then cause by the time they are below 20% they are dead in one hit which will probably happen before they get done with their last action and actually pop the potion.
Curious what platform you're playing. I'm on PC and have not seen this behaviour.
Although I have seen members of my party go from 50% to 0% in essentially no-time-at-all when trying to close Rifts. Those d***** Wraiths and Terror Demons hitting from all sides can take out almost anyone faster than a potion can be quaffed! 😕mileysurprised: 😕mileysad:

No Berserk option selected. Strength went from a 57 before selecting the additional 4 health option perk to 41.
I'm playing on PC. This happens with all my team, not just the controlling character. Happens with every battle not just with fade rifts.
I'm going to try to find and load a game that was saved before I made the perk selection and see what happens.
Do any of you know where the savegames are located?

OK, I loaded a past save where I was still level 17 but had only 8 max health potions. I was in the Exalted Plains, went into Ghilan'nain's Grove, and found some Gurguts and let them attack my group. When any of the group got low on health during the attack, they automatically took the health potions.
This leads me to believe that the perk to increase health potions by 4 (The More Healing Potions Perk) has a big glitch in it (or the developers neglected to tell us that we wouldn't automatically take potions with this perk).
For now, I'm going to stay away from this perk (although having 12 health potions was great).
It'd be nice if I could get the developers to look into this and respond if this is a glitch or not.
