Re: Constant crashes in dead trenches deep roads

I'm having the same problem in Caridin's cross. As soon as I initiate combat the game just closes. Steam version with no mods

  • Hi @kofs86

    I split your post off to a new thread since the original had been inactive for a pretty long time.

    When you've got a chance would you mind posting a DxDiag? For more info on how to pull one up check out the EA Help website. Once you have the text file please attach it here. Thanks!

  • thank you for answering so quickly. here's the dxdiag you asked for. With a lot of patience and saving every 20 second or so I was able to get through the the deep roads. I'm now in the final battle and it's happening again

    @kofs86

    Thanks! I appreciate it.

    You haven't been seeing any error messages when the game crashes? It's just crashing straight to desktop?

  • If it's always at the same spot, it may be data corruption. A repair may help. In Steam, you can find an option in the game's properties called "verify integrity of game files." Click that and see if it helps.

    Also make sure the game is running on the Nvidia GPU instead of integrated graphics. There should be an option to force this in the Nvidia control panel under 'manage 3D settings'.
