- kendry15 years agoRising RookieEA_Kent I am experiencing the same issue. I get a pop that states "Error initializing PhysX. Please visit http://www.nvidia.com/physx for updates."
The link itself is dead, but I was able to find the files on the Nvidia website. However, PhysX has been installed on this laptop - the version I am running is 9.09.0428. - EA_Kent5 years ago

Hey @kendry1,
It looks like the NVIDIA website has been reorganized a bit, and I'm having trouble finding the main page for PhysX. I did some digging, and from what I can see this looks like 9.19.0218 might be the most recent version. Can you try downloading it from this page to see if that helps?Let me know if that helps. Thanks!

@EA_Kent , not sure why PhysX would not update with the rest of the NVIDIA drivers, but I will certainly give it a try and let you know.

@EA_Kent and that did not work. But. I just checked control panel and it seems that I have both 9.09.0428 and 09.19.0218 showing as installed. I'm going to uninstall the older version and see what happens.

And now I have a different problem, but still related to PhysX. I am now getting the following error when I try to start the game:
" Invalid license. Reason code=Missing DLL:{NxCharacter.dll} Error: 0x7E."
I will try to uninstall and reinstall the current version.

uninstall and reinstall seemed to have fixed the issue. I now have a different one, but will start a new thread since it is unrelated to this problem. thanks.
