anyways, try checking the chest again, near the bed when you first wake up in HAVEN.
There will be more when you finish a few quests in the hinterlands (for mounts)
And even more when you get to SKYHOLD.
Sorry mate but i'm at work and can only check at random times, as you've advised I have travelled back to Haven after completing / wandering 3 hours around Hinterlands and the chest is unsearchable, thats why i deleted my original character (Rogue) and tried it from the beginning with a mage. I will try again tonight but do not hold up much hope.
