Re: Failure starting the game (EACore.dll)

The only thing I see that kinda jumps off the page is your mention of Dx11.  The game cannot run on the bare bones of Dx10 or Dx11.  The newer Direct3Ds leave things out, so the game disk wants to install Dx9, and it sounds like you didn't allow it to o so.

They are completely inter-version compatible.

But the installation runs fine and i couldn't find anything, that could block a dx-installation.

Today I tried to install dx 9.29 "by hand", but the installer signals "newer version on pc". So I guess both my DX9 and DX11 are as up-to-date as possible.

As far as I can see, the EACore.dll isn't running well.

But reinstalling doesn't solve the problem....

    Anyone any idea?

Next week I get a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660.

I hope this solves the problem (after reinstalling the game again).
