Re: IS THERE A WAY TO PERMANENTLY TURN OFFTHE ACTIVE QUEST MARKER?

I found something that helps with the active quest marker reactivating: instead of going directly to the journal to deactivate it, go to the map. If the orange splotch is visible on the map, I can click on that to deactivate it. If it isn't, I click on the journal button at the bottom of the map screen and that takes me right to the journal entry and I can deactivate then.

Still don't know how to prevent a new quest from becoming the active quest. 

P.S. I don't mind the quest update marker, that fades. If a new quest was acknowledged that way without actually becoming 'the active quest,' that would be cool.
