It sounds like you're saying that when importing a world state from dragon age keep, that game will refer to it as "default world state". Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but this does not seem right. I recall playing the game when it first came out, and upon importing it would say something like "custom world state" or the name of the world state. That is not doing it for me. I am going to start a playthrough and see if I can tell if it's not my world state, but I doubt it is.

With the new Dragon Age out, I wanted to get back into the game. It is frustrating to see that this is an issue and it looks like this has been an issue for some time. I found forum posts that go back to 2019 regarding this issue. 

i would suggest making it not limited :L alll your dragon age games are connected do have any idea the amount of ppl that wont buy veil guard till they have replayed inquistion or in my case play it for the first time.
im just after  replaying through dragon age origins and dragon age 2 to be stop dead at inquistion now i wont buy veilguard till i can play inquistion with my worlds that i spent over 100 hrs creating making sure all my decisions end up the way i want to have the world  as well  as thats literally the appeal of your your games if wanted a a good rpg where my choices from a prievous game didnt effect that game then id just play baldurs gate 3, also would ye have any form of time frame of when this might be sorted iv looked  at different posts and apprantly this has been issue since april , considering ye once had the keep wroking fine im sure if you actully put the time in ye would have the problems with keep fixed in a day or close to it
