@Giggle_Physics; Report posted just fine.  Usual suspects are absent.  I didn't recognize the Astro 50 Headset, so I looked it up.  (Sweet!)  Some peripherals (Razer keyboards, Steelseries mice, Logitech headsets) have been known to cause problems, but those are usually of the "game won't start" variety.   Also, it's the software associated with them that's the real issue.

Have you tried using a completely different keyboard, just to rule out the specific one current hooked to your rig?

[EDIT:  Also, just to cover the bases, you are absolutely certain you haven't pressed the " ` " key and accidentally enabled the Developer Console, right?  'Cuz that disables the all movement and game actions via the keyboard.]

Ahhh... Good to know.  I'll add the Discord client to the list of "usual suspects".  ("TeamViewer" also prevents the game from working properly.)

Same problem on FIFA16 PC 

was working alright, but the last time i tried keyboard didnt work at all! 

i have read all possible solutions and comments..nothing working for me yet!

There is no DISCORD thing on fifa 16...

i have also tried various keyboards and i have no Controller plugged in.

i thing this is something global and EAS and Origin need to fix it ASAP

Please read the thread again......the most common cause of this is program interference.  In this thread alone there are 2 programs listed that can cause this, and by no means does this mean that they are the ONLY ones to cause this. 

Now your discussion is about Fifa 16 PC, and this is a forum about Dragon Age Inquistion.  But to say that this is a "global" issue with EA games, when previous people IN THIS THREAD state they fixed their issue by getting rid of interfering programs by other companies, is wrong.  I would suggest you take your complaint to the Fifa forums and see if someone there has an idea that could help.  I would start by looking at all the programs running on your machine that hook into other running games/programs, such as Discord, Teamspeak, some chat programs, some emoji programs and anything else that could effect this....maybe starting with clean boot of your system to see if it helps.  Also how many other people have posted this issue up in Fifa forums, or even this one??  Not many that I can see, so it is most likely a combination of programs on your machine more than a "global issue" that EA must deal with.

I have been digging the net for couple of past weeks and the problem persists! With FIFA18,17,16 , and DA

and again..WHEN there is no Update on the windows,origin and other programs, and there has been no newely insatalled programmes on the rig, such and absurd problem should occure out of NOWHERE????

JUST SEARCH FIFA 18 forum to see the disaster. the reason that there is almost no complaint on fifa 16, is that nobody is playing it anymore. but does that makes my point UNVALID??

A.there is no HOOOOKING program

B.there is no GAMING DEVICE or Controller

C.the keyboard works perfectly fine with any other games

D.The keyboard WORKED! perfectly fine with origin. the problem just occurred literally outa nowhere

and finnally is that odd that EA releases Games with major problems and gets away with it?? just my 10 year personal Xperience on the Career modes of every fifa proves that

@farshad_vcf_71;  Please read @mcsupersport's post again.  Your issue may have nothing to do with DAI, or FIFA, (which has a completely separate forum.)  The symptoms you describe point to a different program on your computer as the cause.  So even though you could play it successfully before, and nothing changed with your game, some other a new/updated program could now be interfering.  The fact that you have been "digging the net for couple past weeks" without finding a solution is an indication that this is not a "global" problem.

We (the folk who try to help others) know that the chat programs "Discord" and "TeamViewer" can cause problems.  And in certain cases the "Origin" overlay itself is the culprit.  Also on the list of "usual suspects" for this kind of thing are the utility programs for certain Razer, Steelcase, and Logitech hardware.  But there may be others.

Lastly, you haven't provided any details about your environment. A DXdiag report would help.  See item 2. in this post which is pinned at the top of this forum:

Ok, lets look into the tech forums for Fifa, DAI, MEA and SWBattleFront2....

First one or two pages of each forum....and see how many posts are about Keyboard issues on them....

Fifa 16....one post, which @farshad_vcf_71 already posted in dated from around 2015 or 2016, and edited to say it started working.

Fifa 17 ....zero posts on 2 pages.

Fifa 18....one post, with no response from OP after EA community manager posted there last Wednesday.

Fifa 19.....zero posts 2 pages

MEA.....zero posts 2 pages

DAI....well that is here, and you found the post about it and the listed fix.

SWBF2...one thread, and guess what, posted fix was Teamviewer disabled, with people reporting Discord and Origin overlay also causing issues....seems mixed on which causing most issue.

So the idea that there is some MAJOR GLOBAL ISSUE is just false.  There is a known issue between frostbite based games and things that put on overlays(aka outside programs interfering with the game), such as teamviewer, discord and Origin, which has already been made plain in this very thread.  So if you wish to fix your issue, I suggest you spend time posting the info needed to diagnose it, but please use the correct forum.  I would look very carefully into any program that hooks into the game and has an overlay that can be accessed ingame....such as discord, teamviewer, Origin, Geforce gaming evolved, steam, or any other.
