same here
after several hours of gameplay they were not lootable anymore
there isn't even a highlight anymore if you mouseover them

- I've been able to loot a chest the first time that I come across it, but I don't think that chests respawn with loot like in Skyrim. Now that I think about it I think non-respawning chests is how chests were in DAO and DA2 as well.
