Cass was with me, and I killed the particular individual....but my quest doesnt update....ive tried traveling, saving and loading...but nothing helps....oh I have another character that got stuck and cant complete a quest that pertains to returning a druffalo in the hinterlands lol....

Do you have a save from before the kill? If so, try loading this and killing the enemy in question again?
Now I recall the lost druffalo, perhaps if you reload the area and return to the creepy spider canyon its position has reset?
