I am posting this as an update. The cause of this issue was the last time I played, which was admittedly about a year ago, I inverted the mouse controls. The inverted controls even apply to the Terms and Conditions acceptance. So, in this case, right clicking was the answer.

Honestly never would have thought of changing this one.
