Re: Tan Pants / Boots clothing texture glitch

I didn't even recognize the bug in my first playthrough ....

Maybe it hasn't appeared back then, because now that it is happening i can hardly enjoy.... everytime my boots go blank i get sick.

And yes, setting mesh options to medium fixes the bug, but being used to ultra settings makes this kind of unbearable.

Hope there's a fix on the way?

Does anyone know?

  • No ones knows, but with several topics here, some in the suggestion box and some in the other forums, they are bound to know about this by now and hopefully will disable it.

    This is a "Do-Not-Want" feature.

I swear I went through an entire playthrough without seeing this "feature" until I started a mage....

. Like y'all I can't figure out if its a gltich or a feature. If its a feature its a pretty crappy feature. Like. I get having a feature that adds travel dust to your clothes, but on my mage the entire lower half of my body just turns tan while my upper body stays spotless. There is a button that turns of persistent gore, why not remove the dust as well?

It seems that more flexible pieces of armor (the coats that have the tail, or the giant overcoat don't seem to suffer from this. Metal bits of armor also don't suffer, but pants, lower robes and boots all turn into the pajamas you wear around skyhold.

  • You are lucky if you went through an entire playthrough without seeing it.

I see it all the time.

This was what I was thinking, if they actually added it we should be able to turn it off.

It is so inconsistent to, Like why is it only the Inquisitor? I only had my whole party be affected ONCE. So its hardly realistic for me to only get dirty.

I don't have the option to turn the mesh down to medium as I am on PS4.

Errr its so frustrating! I spend hours collecting materials and customizing my gear (I am making an outfit for each climate at the moment) and its all for nothing if my lower half turns tan half the time!
