@nina_zorba;  I have a couple of questions for you in order to help:

1.  What platform are you using?  PC?  XBox?  PS?

2.  If PC, are you using any mods?  Some are known to cause the issue you're reporting.

[EDIT:  Oh, and the game is now over 10 years old. Any development/patching work ended over eight years ago with the release of ver. 1.05.  I don't know where you got the idea that anyone had promised to work on this bug (which most players never experience) but it sure wasn't from BioWare.]
