Red Lyrium Reapers - Can't finish web portion
Customer support chat said to post this here... I am trying to do the 'Red Lyrium Weapons' inquest game. Every time I finish the 'quest', it takes me to a screen asking me to 'Share' or 'Log In/Sig...

But you were not very clear about how to open JS console and I didn't realise the console had to be open in the same tab as the ea site for the first 2 commands, and then open JS console in the quest.dragonage site for the 2nd set of commands.. I imagine a lot of people would not try that so maybe update your instructions a bit!
In your browser go to the menu button and tools (or hold alt and click tools) > javascript console
Do this while the tab for each site is open.. don't try it on another tab. That is the mistake I made >.<
I used chrome for mine. Worked perfectly.. and I got actual english feedback and not just code:

Nevertheless.. bit of fiddling and it worked. It says they are unlocked in the keep now. But not at skyhold yet so can't physically check yet! I am wondering.. will I have to download the reapers DLC from origin client before they show up in-game?

I don't think EA want us to have the reapers anymore for some reason.. it feels like they have done this on purpose. It should not take over 6 months to fix it but I am glad you cared enough to do this for people. Top fella! Cheers

I thought I made that fairly clear, but I will tweak the instructions a bit. Thanks for pointing this out.
FYI you have to enable java console in your web browsers first https://www.java.com/en/download/help/javaconsole.xml
Restart PC/Browser then you must
NONONONONONONONONONONOOOOOOO! The Java console is a completely different tool. It's also know for being very vulnerable. Please uninstall this from your machine as soon as possible.

I don't think there is any download necessary. At least not manually. The Origin client should take care of this on its own.

By the looks of what was broken, I don't think so. I'm fairly certain the problem was that they had some libraries their code depended upon that was updated, but they never updated their code to comply with the new changes. My supposition is that this site was an intern project of some sort, and that EA/Bioware has been focusing their teams on more game-breaking changes as well as the Mass Effect Andromeda website, which can be expected to launch eventually. 🙂Not sure if I missed a post of yours explaining how to use the JS console but I didn't see anything..
I read that in order for java console to show in browser you had to enable it that way? Well I will disable it again..
Ah ok.. I was expecting code as response. That is helpful.. means it was typed right atleast!
Well I know the flames of inquisition weapons had to be downloaded.. so thought maybe these need to too.. would explain why the script worked but people still didn't get the weapons for some of the above posters.
I dunno man.. It is typical of EA but still.. if one guy can figure it out who is only motivated by helping others.. why can't their highly paid idiot staff do it? I have already spoken to them about it and they have known about it for a long time.. and I bet you.. even with the answer here for them they still won't fix it for months. EA are the richest, biggest games giant in the world.. there is no excuse.
Not going to buy MEA.. ME2 and ME3 were both disappointments. Same as DA2 and to some extent DAI too.. Bioware have been destroyed by the EA parasite. Which is heartbreaking because I was a huge fan up until DA2 came out. Ever since Baldurs Gate. Also another disappointment was abandoning KOTOR for an MMO. meh.. totally different company now. Its a shame.
