Terrible FPS
In both cutscenes and gameplay my game has awful fps. It doesn't matter if the graphics are on high or low it's just terrible. It's making me really mad because I just got this computer in August and...

I don't recommend that FPs uncapping thing. The majority of people it has worked for are only experiecing low FPS on cutscenes and those low FPS are 30 for them.
We are experiecing 30 and Lower consistently throughout the game.
Yeah it did nothing for my fps. But it was something EA suggested I try.

Soooo frustrating. After seeing all those trailers and videos showing how the game should go, this is really disappointing. This isn't something hundreds of people should have to call EA tech support for, it should be a patch. More to the point, wasn't the point of delaying the game to PREVENT this sort of thing???
You would think so. I'm wondering what the common denominator is for all of us having this problem. It doesn't seem terribly common but still there quite a few people with the same issue.
I made a post about this in my gaming clan's PC-RPG forum and was smugly told that reviewers hadn't reported any problems. Was something different in their games? (Same wonderful person also told me that I should just get Nvidia's top card...as if I can afford that...)

i promise you, buying the top card wont help
GTX 760, i5 2500k @3.3, and 8GB DDR3. I get around 30 FPS in haven when running on med/high and that dips into the 20s and below when i look out at the more open areas. Ive even tried setting everything to the lowest possible and still get only about 40 fps max with dips into the 30's and 20's. At the same time my brother who is running essentially the same PC (only difference is that he has a 770) can run the game at a stable 50-60 on high/ultra. So ya hopefully they will release a patch because while the game is playable and im still enjoying it i would love to have be able to play on the graphic level me hardward should allow with decent stable fps.

Dude, same card.. Same problem. Even tech support was confused and couldn't help when I called. The only real hope I have is the tweet from DA:I that says "Known issue with some nvida graphics cards. Working with Nvidia" My only wish is they would release some sort of list so I can stop wasting time digging in forums for an effin solution to a problem I may not be able to fix..
Like someone else said, I really hope they're looking at this for AMD cards, too, not just NVIDIA.
Otherwise a whole bunch of us will be up a creek still.
I've been hammering EA support and the dragonage twitter today. They seem to randomly respond. Its like the second time I have ever even used twitter but atleast its a chance at a legit response. If anyone else feels up to it i suggest we try to reach out to them there... Or if you care you can fallow me at @🤭TAGOo and maybe I will get a response from someone.. Its worth a try I guess.
