Terrible FPS

Don't take this the wrong way but I hope you are wrong. I would like to hope that they plan to fix it because I don't want to be sadled with a game I can't play.

I would also like to clarify when I said update I think the tech people meant drivers. I'm not very sure they were kind of vague.

Remember, if you're upgrading to the latest Catalyst drivers (14.11.2), make sure you're doing a clean uninstall. Use a driver cleaner tool in safe mode after you've uninstalled your current version of video drivers, then apply the new drivers after a reboot.

If this isn't fixed within 30 days, I fully intend to invoke Origin's "Great Game Guarnetee."  I didn't pay $80 for this baloney, and I don't want to pay to upgrade to the GeForce 660 if DA:I is going to look as much like poop as it does with my GT 630.

What WAS the suggested fix?  I may as well try it =-\  It can't make things worse, ne?

I also talked to multiple techs yesturday. Cool people. Anyway, the problem could not be solved but here are some things that could help:

Obviously after you fiddle with the graphics settings like turning off SSAO, etc. AS WELL AS closing all non-essential background programs 

1. Control + r for run program. Type in msconfig. Under selective start up, uncheck Load Startup items then go to Services tab and check the 'Hide all microsoft services. Then Click disable all, apply and Okay. It will ask you to restart and go ahead and do that. Boot up the game and see if it works better.

2. Reinstall game, retry game.

3. Try playing the game under another User with Administrator rights.

4. Clear out Browser cache from beginning of time and retry the game.

5.  Defragment your drive using Piriform Defraggler, then retry game.

None of these steps helped me but they could for you. Plus any technician is going to try and troubleshoot the problem by going through some of these with you anyway.

As for a patch, I am waiting for an official BIOWARE patch for DA:I and another NVIDIA driver update since the last one didn't work for me.

It was to right click on the game and go to game properties and paste this: -GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+ 

I think it was the same fix for the 30 fps lock during cutscenes. All it did was make everyone run in slow motion. It didn't even really help my problem but it might work for you.

Yeah, I tried that fps uncapping fix last night and it made my game freeze... So no luck there.

Bah, I'm lucky to get 9 FPS, especially if there's a fight happening.  30 is a dream =-(

I don't recommend that FPs uncapping thing. The majority of people it has worked for are only experiecing low FPS on cutscenes and those low FPS are 30 for them.

We are experiecing 30 and Lower consistently throughout the game. 

Yeah it did nothing for my fps. But it was something EA suggested I try.
