Investigate the corpses, nothing happens.

I had the same problem. I noticed that there was one enemy left on the map, a genlock over by the elevator down to the next area. Once I took him out, that fixed it and made the corpses investigatable (if that's even a word.)

I had the same issue. I play on xbox one. It was making me nuts. Tried fast traveling back to camp and then back, didn't work. Went back to skyhold and came back, didn't work. Eventually what worked for me was to backtrack out the way I came into the area. (not fast travel) After I got a bit away, the enemies respawned and I had to kill them all again (the ogre and everything else) and then suddenly I could investigate the corpses.

Yep, there was one stupid Genlock behind a pillar on the other side of the wall in a different room as far away from the corpses as it could be a once I killed it then I could finally investigate.

Hey, I've heard of two things to check. One is to simply leave the area and return. The other, is if you're on PC and using mods, disable said mods.

I'm having the same issue with this. I have tried everything I can think of, including to options left here and nothing is working. My game keeps shutting down. Below is what I have tried.
Removed the mods
Modded without any sort of mods (just the main game thing)
Deleted the patch and updated/repaired
Repaired alone
Backtracked without fast Travel
Fast Traveled to Skyhold and back to Ozamarrar

For me, the run out of the area and back solved the problem. I didn't run back to the lift but almost.
Tle quit/reload didn't.

Same issue here. Im playing on the xbox one. I did what other ppl tried (leaving the area/starting from the beginning) ect. but still nothing. Im quite annoyed. I was having fun up until that point.

Hi Danielle.
I've had this problem myself last night. Tried one more thing earlier today AND IT WORKED. I'm on the PS4. What console are you playing on?

Make SURE every last enemy is dead. Even walking past the corpses and towards the end of the level. I had one genlock who for some reason didn't attack with the pack and was sitting by himself in a corner.
