to start the the dlc , make sure you have only mages in you party , any sword characters will crash the game when loading, then goto the war room and use the war points to start the dlc on the map, and it will load fine no issues, it worked for me as i seen the same method some people tried out and worked so they posted it , if later on you see a black loading screen with the loading icon in the bottom right had corner, press x button and it will show the party screen, its bug, but if you remember where the characters you want are in your head, you can move the pad right and press a button to select them, or you can press x and see if you on the character you want , if not , press b button and move across one and press x , if you see the one you want press a button , and so forth , it was the only way that worked for me, this will work until as a solution for the dlc until they release a patch to fix the bugs in the dlc, hope this helps people having problems.
