"Unable to load save data as required downloadable content is missing" PS4

Having the same problem. Contacted EA support today and was told that this is a known issue that they are currently working on. They said they would post the fix when a solution is found :/

Has anyone heard anything further on this from EA or figured out any work arounds?

my wife got it working for me earlier by closing my app and loading the game on her profile, which doesnt have the issue at all, then switching over and starting the app from my profile again. i tried this to no avail. anythign helps. i need my fix on this long weekend!!!!

Encountered it just now... my hard work gone my only one game file.... i hate replaying again D: and its worth 67 hours of gameplay too

I am also having this problem. Had to put a new HDD in my PS4 and now there is absolutely NO WAY to download the DLC again. So I am basically locked out of all my save game files. Chatted to a "game advisor" last night and they basically said "tough luck" and then tried to give me a 15% discount voucher for Origin on PC which wont do me any good on my PS4. EA is the worst when it comes to customer care......

I just got this message today as well on my PS4. I tried deleting the system data for the game, and I then went in and reinstalled the game, downloaded the Flames of the Inquisition DLC pack and it installed, then I downloaded the most recent update which also installed. Now when I try to pull up my save I get a message saying "This save file can not be loaded, as installation is still in progress. Please wait for the installation to finish then try again." The problem there is that there is absolutely nothing being installed at the moment. Everything is installed. I have a feeling that I'm not getting those 61 hours back either. The fact that there are so many posts on this page and no answers probably means we're never getting an answer. And it also means I'm never buying a Bioware game again, even if Mass Effect is one of my favorite game series, I'm not going to waste 61 hours of my life to have to do it all over again.

I have this same problem. My girlfriend and I were both playing Dragon Age on my PS4; each of us has a separate account. We had purchased the Deluxe Edition game, and I myself didn't care about the Deluxe Content, so I told her she could redeem the code. When she did this, she was able to play the game fine, but I was now getting an error when trying to load my games that I was missing Deluxe Edition content. Therefore, I am completely unable to play.

I've tried several times to contact EA, but I am blown away at how horrible the customer service has been. 

First, I went to the Live Agent site. I had to wait an hour and a half before I could talk to an agent. When I finally did, the agent wasn't helpful and was trying to force me to purchase another game. (We were both able to share the game prior to redeeming the code, so I'm not going to buy another game!) I then asked to speak to a supervisor, and the rep hung up on me! Today, I found a number I could call. I then put in a callback request. I just got my call back after two and a half hours, but as soon as I answered, the person on the other end hung up. When I called back, I got a message about business hours being over. I can't believe they made me wait for nothing!

I just had this problem. I cantacted EA but as expected not much help. I have the game working now. All I did was delete the installed game (I have DVD version - Deluxe). I then put the DVD into the PS4. It needed to load some update so I did this and re downloaded the extra deluxe content from the playstation store using my redeem code. After all of this I restarted the game and was able to load my saved games and all is working fine barr some game lag which I believe is a different issue. I hope this helps.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I am 70 hours through and tried to play on friday and got the same message. Recently i used a code for some DLC and i think thats what caused the problem. I tried to delete the game and reinstall but it didnt change anything. I even started a new game and then tried to load my other file and still no luck. I also tried to delete the DLC but...no luck. I am so sick of this stuff happening with RPG games. I really want to finish this game but will not be bothered to start again.
