Vinsomer the High Dragon never appears.

I've encountered him after he was fighting a giant and have since unlocked Dragon Island. He is no where to be found on the island. He is the last dragon I need for the slaying 10 high dragons achievement and I just can't kill what isn't in the game for me.

It's actually listing that I killed him (10/10) but the quest "Dragon Hunter" won't be completed or I won't get the achievement so it must be glitched... Read that you can kill across playthroughs for achievement so I'll just kill another in a new playthrough...

He's in a back area within the Storm Coast on the left side of the map. The door to this building however won't be open until you unlock a war table mission called Red Templars on the Storm Coast(looks like you're past this point anyways since he's the last dragon you need) but anyways in this area is a boat you can take to Dragon Island - you'll find Vinsomer there.

No, he's no where to be found on Dragon Island, This is my issue.

I just killed this guy about an hour ago, prior to that i had talked to the researcher in the Western Approach for tips on finding more dragons, and when i was walking through Dragon Island, Sera questioned its whereabouts, Two to go off perhaps?

Talked to the Researcher and he just listed off a bunch of dragons he knew of. Went back to Dragon Island and still no dragon or anyone commenting onit.
