Hi,I'm sure you have received complaints on the Dorian companion quest not triggering - as in, not receiving the Felix letter and/or mother Giselle not giving the quest (aka, not leaving the garden).I want to know when are you doing anything to fix it - it is slightly annoying that the only exclusively gay male character in the game is the one with this bug. Considering that you guys are one of the few game developers that respects the existence of gay gamers and give us the option to pursue romance with our own sexual preference (kudos to you!!), this bug is such a wrench to my love for the game.Please tell us when you'll fix it - also, please ensure the fix makes the quest trigger to whomever has gone past a specific part of the game so we don't have to restart our games from the beginning!Thanks!

It might not necessarily be a bug, your approval might need to go higher. If you have the Dorian's Request war table mission, you can do this and its followup quest to gain some quick and easy approval.

Hi,I've done that mission. I've also done "One less Venatorie" with him in my team. He has been in my team since I first got him, never had a "Dorian dissaproves". I also placed Alexius as a magical researcher.Another thing I noticed is that his dialogues options are always the same (basically "Goodbye") and that his approval doesn't go up when I kill Venatorie in the Western Approach (which should go, right?).I assume this is all bug related, right?Thanks for the answer.

I am also having this problem on PS4. I have completed One Less Venatori, never said anything in conversation that leads to Dorian's disapproval, and just finished the Winter Palace with all the options that lead to "Dorian Greatly Approves," and he still won't talk to me about anything except questions regarding Tevinter.

I've heard this problem can be caused if you have too much approval with Dorian prior to going to Skyhold, but this is unconfirmed at the moment. This would also mean the bug only occurs to players who sided with the mages, which I doubt.

I did side with the mages, so theoretically that's possible in my case.

Aye, one issue with the hidden approval ratings is that you can't immediately check approval level for confirmation.

I have seen the theory about the early high approval too, it sounds plausible.

But narritive wise, it doesn't make sense. The approval rate should be seen as a "minimum" to trigger and not "too much to trigger". It's counterintuitive. Also, siding with the mages should almost be a pre-requisite to date him (not really, but you get my point).

So, technicalities apart, all the bugs related to triggering the felix letter cutscene don't make sense from neither story or mechanics perspextive.
