When are you fixing Dorian's companion quest bug?

Hi,

I'm sure you have received complaints on the Dorian companion quest not triggering - as in, not receiving the Felix letter and/or mother Giselle not giving the quest (aka, not leaving the garden).
I want to know when are you doing anything to fix it - it is slightly annoying that the only exclusively gay male character in the game is the one with this bug. Considering that you guys are one of the few game developers that respects the existence of gay gamers and give us the option to pursue romance with our own sexual preference (kudos to you!!), this bug is such a wrench to my love for the game.
Please tell us when you'll fix it - also, please ensure the fix makes the quest trigger to whomever has gone past a specific part of the game so we don't have to restart our games from the beginning!

Thanks!

  • It's happened to me on both my Templar and Mage runthroughs, so it can't just be pre-Skyhold approval.

  • I've been having problems with Dorian, Solas, and Iron Bull not giving me their quests. Really not sure what I did, as I can't remember a time when any of them disapproved of my decisions. Visible approval rating would be nice to have, assuming that's really what's going on.

  • No, not the case. I have played this 3 times with 3 new characters. I made the same choices and same speech replis (I'm boring and don't change choices/replies I'm comfortable with - and before u say, I have had this mission trigger with straight female inquisitors too). 2 out of three have has this mission trigger. Latest hasn't. So it's a bug. Needs to be fixed.

As far as siding with mages causing this bug:

No. Both my characters before this one with the bug are human (1 female and 1 male), both straight - BOTH sided with mages (in fact all my characters side with mages), and I WAS able to trigger and complete the quest "Last resort of good men".

The character with the bug has made THE SAME choices AND SAME replies as my other 2 characters (I don't deviate, just try different classes)... and the other 2 DID have this quest trigger and complete. This is a bug, EA
