Where is the registration code for dragon age 2

I have just purchased dragon age 2 and have been asked for the registration code before I can load the game onto my laptop, I  have inserted every number I can find and none are accepted.Where is this code to be found?

Please advise as soon as possible.

I have activated my online pass ok.

    Is this a boxed PC/Mac copy?

    If so, the product key is on the back of the manual. If it's a new copy and the code doesn't work, contact EA at http://help.ea.com/contact-us . If it's a used copy, the code isn't supposed to work.
