Wont update patch#6

It just wont start downloading and after some period it says downloading failed and wont start or resume. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Mine says update can't install unless I upgrade my operating system to Vista 6.0 or newer... I have Windows 7, completely updated. And it won't let me play, unless I install the update... Help me, please!

EDIT: Well, apparently, when Origin is offline, game works... No patch for me, then.

I hadn't looked hard enough for the "Go offline" option. Still can't download, but at least I can play

  I suppose they'll fix the patch soon enough, but try turning off everything. After that, start the game from the desktop or Start menu shortcut, not Origin. I completely turned off all Internet connection to my laptop. Very tedious, but at least I have access to the game, until they *hopefully* fix the issue.
