World State won't import.

I have a PS3 and my Dragon's Keep world state will not import to my DAI.

The Dragon's Keep website says the world state has been imported, but when I start my game, it only offers the default world state. Can anyone help?

Ok. So I made my world state using Dragon Keep and did the steps. So I started the game release day and it said it imported my game. That it was successful. So I loved my character and did a lot of side quests and got most of my companions. Life is good. Then I defeat a boss and who comes strolling into the room. Why, its King Alistair and Queen Anora. But....wait! My origin character was in love with Alister and he loved her and sacrificed himself by killing the arch demon!!!!! What the hell! My world got crushed! So now im trying to recreate my character but im afraid it may not import right again. (By the way, think I found the problem.) So is there a way to double check the import while on my PS4? Any other way to check? Because I dont even want to play now. ☹️ not till i can get it right.

Yeah, I am having the same issue on the PS4.

I checked, double checked, and re-checked to make sure that my playstation network gamertag, e-mail, and origins account all match up. They absolutely do, no doubt about it. I looked up the tutorials they've posted, just to make sure. Everything is connected how it should be.

However, while it says on the Dragon Age Keep that my world state is succesfully being imported, upon attempting to start a new game and import my custom world state from the Dragon Age keep, it takes forever to load, and then I get this message: "No custom world state found. Using default world state."

I figured that I must have messed up somewhere, but that doesn't appear to be the case. After all of my double checking, I cannot think of a single possible mistake I could have made.

Update:  After all of my repeated attempts and coming here to find answers, I just decided to shut everything down completely and then start it back up again. And it worked. I'm still not sure where the issue originated, to be honest, but it is what it is. Maybe logging out, shutting everything down completely and then logging back in will help you too? Fingers crossed that the issue clears up for you soon.

im having this issue with my PC.  Nothing seems to be working.  The keep says the file has been imported, but the game seems to have no idea.  I do not know what to do.

I am having a similar problem, the weird thing is I have successfully played DAI with different imported states 3 time now, now that I want to start I new game, no matter what I do, I am still getting a default world state (XBox One) I have tried all of the traditional solutions: double checking accounts, syncing and re-syncing, exporting different world states, restarting, etc. but NOTHING is working... like I said I have had no problem with this before and I would like help as to why this is starting up now

Sorry to hear you are having trouble exporting your World state @JabberJackle. Can you give us more details about the exact issue you're having?

(Bear with me as you probably already done that a few times already, but just in case here is how to import a Custom World State on Xbox One)

    1. Export the world state you wish to use in Inquisition. For a detailed explanation of how to do so, check out the World State Manager Tutorial. Ensure that your Xbox is connected to the internet during this process - you may disconnect after. Please note the time stamp on your exported world state.

    2. Press Y at the menu to log in to your EA (Origin) account.

    3. Open up Inquisition and select 'New Game' to begin.

    4. Select your Inquisitor's race, class, and your preferred game difficulty.

    5. After you've completed these steps, you'll be prompted to import your world state into the game. Hit A to import.

    6. Once your world state has been imported, check to make sure the time stamp in the game matches the one shown in the Keep.

    7. Press A to complete the import of your custom world state.

    8. Proceed through the rest of the start-up process and then start playing!

In your case, are you prompted to import the world state  at all? If yes, does it seem the world state is imported but then you realize in-game that it's the wrong state? The more details the better. Thanks!

  • What exactly do you mean press Y at the menu? No matter where I press why once dragon age is opened, no login in pops up. Nothing with the Y button happens at all? Am I suppose to log into EA on my xbox internet app?

  • Did you just restart your system? I'm still having issues with this as I just got inquisition after all this time. I can't for the life of me get the save to important over.
