This needs to be adressed... Cause it is damn enoying.
I addressed it by reinstalling windows 8, haha. It was time for a refresh anyway. I still don't know why only DAI wouldn't properly map the controller, but I was tired of waiting. Super frustrating.
Same issue here. Cannot play with wired XBOX 360 controller.
EA your silence on this issue is concerning. This is a common problem and I suspect will leave you open to legal action as the DVD packaging clearly states "Microsoft X360 controller supported". This is false advertising, if this is not resolved you may be at the losing end of a class action. I have literally spent hours trying to get this to work. I suspect that you will have many more complaints after Christmas day when people unwrap their game then endure the rediculously lengthy install process only to discover that they are unable to do what the product clearly states you should be able to do. After two patches I should have thought this issue would have had been resolved. I refuse to try another workaround. Product test more thoroughly in future and please dont ever buy an airline manufacturer. I'd hate to see the results of releasing untested airplanes on consumers. I hope you take my point.
Mine has totally stopped working after the patch. lol. Wish there were a way to reroll to pre-patch because I just couldn't bare with the KB/M controls.
