[BUG] Game gets stuck loading even before title screen

What it says in the title. I discussed with someone through the help chat and they had zero answers for me. Has anyone solved getting stuck on a black screen with the purple loading symbol? I haven't even seen the title screen of the game. I've waited over a month since I bought it for updates to see if those would fix my problem, but nothing has.
