Yeah, and I think it’s just that there’s too much to forgive, in general. Any one issue might be worth overlooking, but when it all comes together it paints a pretty bland picture. Add in the fact that Lucanis’ commitment scene is the exact. same. as the scene where he confirms that he’s pursuing Neve and it’s infuriating. It’s the same scene. It’s the same scene. He does the same thing to express his interest in both of them!
Rook and Neve are entirely interchangeable in his storyline, except Neve at least gets some reciprocation when she flirts, isn’t that so romantic? Truly, a love story for the (Dragon) ages! Lmao
Some people are finding that the ending scene makes up for…everything that comes before it, but ehhhh, maybe I’m still just too annoyed. I don’t feel pacified by it. Maybe you’d find some joy in it, but if the other, universally considered “better” options didn’t do it, I would say that it’s probably not worth your time. His whole mid-game is dead in the water.
Agreed. I don't know if I can make it to the final act and scenes knowing what I know now about everything in between. I'm beginning to wonder what made me think they would, or could, create a good game... I just thought they might have learned some lessons in the past 7-10 years *(considering DAI and ME:A). I guess not.
If you find or come across anything worth playing for in the Lucanis romance, let me know.
