[Feedback] Add a patch to Remove character limits
I spent $100 for this game to found out I can't create more than 3 character playthrough. Could Devs please add a patch to remove character limits.

100% agree. 4 races, 6 factions, 7 romances, 9 specializations, all limited down to 3 saves on consoles. Make it make sense.
Yeah I have it for XBOX and the limit is 3 they need to patch all the console and remove the limit.
I just found out about the character limit on consoles.. it's really upsetting.
I'd love to play the game more than 3 times but I also refuse to delete my characters. I hope they change this. :(

They really need to remove this 3 character limit on console, or at least increase it to 6, so we can play as all of the factions without having to delete any old playthroughs, which I refuse to do.
THIS. I wouldn't have bought it on console if this had been indicated at all, but we shouldn't have to buy the game on PC to be able to experience all factions, lineages and romances. And what if you want to play the same class more than once? I have two mages and one rogue, and now I can't play warrior. I'd planned multiple playthroughs but I'm unable to start another because it won't let me. Restricting our ability to play the game again if we don't want to delete our characters in order to make more is absurd.
This is a roleplaying game. I'm always going to want to make more characters, and being locked out of doing this basic staple of the game is ridiculous. Raising the character limit doesn't solve the problem, the cap needs to be removed entirely. Let US decide how much console space we want to take up with our characters and saves. Warn us it'll take more space or have a manual increase limit toggle if necessary, but stop punishing us for buying on console.
I didn't find that limit on PC version. If it is a different platform please specify that.

Yes, it's a console thing. Players have pointed out the absurdity that you can't have enough characters for the four possible races (or "lineages", as they call them now).
I don't know the reasoning myself. It seems like an arbitrary limit, and players should decided for themselves how much of their console storage they want to use for this game.On PC the Characterlimit is 10 Slots
That also seems unnecessary, but at least on PC it's easier to back up saves somewhere else.
I just discovered this! It makes no sense and why is it only for consoles?? Do you think they'll actually change it? Or is there a workaround for it? Bc I haven't discovered any, if so. Not allowing AT LEAST 6 characters is insane...
The limit is on xbox too, Im so angry, cause my elf fem Rook save broke and turned her into "he/him male" at the end of act two, and I already have 3 characters I'm invested in, (two male one fem) but wanted to make another fem, while I wait for them to patch it up😤 and I can't because theres a useless limit.🤯 If bg3 doesn't have a limit why does DAV??
Alright, see the current workaround is this: Go to the mirror in the room where Varric is located. Then, press R1 to go the end of the character editing process. THIS will save your character as the original character you save it as.
it's worst thing they added to the game the excuse memory load issue's yet you can have 100 saves per character total 300 saves plus auto saves that can effect memory more then having multiple characters
