I am near the end of my initial run. Probably my only one. And much of that is because of what is mentioned in this thread. Especially the Neve/Lucanis. I accidentally started my romance with Taash (they're nice enough, but I was going to try for Neve). And there is NO WAY to undo it or dump them and go after Neve. I did not know this and got pretty far from the romance commitment part and so I'm not going back to a very old save.
So, now I also never take Neve and Lucanis together on a mission and do not go interact with them at the Lighthouse.
I find it a letdown that I can't just walk up to any character at the Lighthouse and talk about stuff, even if it is the same dialog time and time again. In Inquisition, I would almost always go talk to Sera, even though I wasn't romancing her because the character was so interesting to watch and listen to. And my romance in Inquisition was with Josephine and I could always interrupt her and go do smoochies in the courtyard, in DAV, nothing with Taash except the initial romantic encounter.
There is much I am disappointed with, but mostly not being able to interact with the companions. Except Assan, I can always pet him if he is sitting in the yard - and I always do. 'Dorbs.
I do like the "Can't Die" option and the character creation is top notch (except for light hair not staying light).
I might play Inquisition again, but I heard it doesn't do so well on PS5. So it is probably back to BG3.
