I don't know...I don't feel like the bond is there. We barely get any interaction with companions, much less our romances. Most of the time it's like Rook isn't even there because we can only interact when the game says it's ok. The majority of the time we're little more than a fly on the wall- we walk up to companions standing near each and we don't really get acknowledged. The companions chat and we stand there, doing nothing. Not interacting...not able to give input. It's very frustrating.
Worse than just flat out ignoring you when you come up to companions talking to each other they just all stare you down after they finish chatting as if you’re intruding. There are definitely some strange choices that were made in making this game that’s for sure.
