I do believe that they should reduce the manual save amount as who in the right mind to save that much, or at least have an option for people like me who don't save much or save over saves, so we have something like 10 to 20 cap per save. However, we allowed to go up to 6 to 9, character especially that background do affect story we should had up by minimum 6 character save profile slots
