Let us bind arrow keys for movement

I have crippled hands. The only way I can play an RPG like DAVG is to change the movement key binds to the arrow keys. Left-handed players also usually do this. Currently, the "up" and "down" arrow keys are locked to changing levels on a map(which I would change to "page up" and "Page down"), and cannot be changed either. I am literally unable to play DAVG without using the arrow keys because of my hands. Please make it so we can re-bind any key we want to any key we need.

    The same problem here. I can't play without arrow keys.

    Adding support to this as well - please let us map movement to the arrow keys.

    Until the patch comes out you can use keyboard remap. Info about this on microsoft site or use keyboard manage utility (part of powertoy by Microsoft). It will help you with any game not only with this one and as a bonus, you can also define macros and key combinations for easy access (double space+attack, jump attack and so on so off).

      you can remap with shift plus arrow key which will be accepted. it's a PITA but until patch, its easiest way. Don't forget to remap shift to the right shift key first

      Thank you, I never knew about this.  This should work, or the SHIFT + arrow keys MoLamancha mentioned, until EA (hopefully) fixes this.

        Update: The keyboard manager in MS power tools works like a charm. I can now easily play with the arrow keys. I simply enable the KM tool before I start DA4, then turn it off when done. Yes its annoying considering this mapping should exist in the default game to begin with but at least there is a solution and it was easy to set up.

    I am left-handed and that is the best way to play.  Because I am forced to use a right handed WSD keyboard, I can't properly dodge or move out of the way.  I basically have use 2 keyboards to play and its extremely hard.

    UPDATE:   So, I figured out a way to be able to play. It's really hard for me but it might be easier for those of you that have normal hands. I ended up rebinding the movement keys to the NumPad. 5 is forward, 2 is backward, 1 is left and 3 is right. My ability keys are mapped to 7, 8, and 9. I mapped the sprint key to 0, and the + is my "defend" key.  * is the finisher key and NumPad - is my potion key.  The only key I don't have mapped to the NumPad is my ultimate, and that I always have as the \| key above the enter key, and the pgdn key is how I exit a vehicle like the ballistas, etc.

    I don't know if this will help you guys out but I hope it does. The game is getting a lot of hate and it has issues, but I am enjoying it a lot.
