Missing: Party Banter and Soundtrack download
Overall the Game was OK. With general games as the general bar, OK, not by the standards of the three dragon age games. But once - as the rumour is - EA forced Bioware to make it a hack/slash Action RPG I suppose this is the best we could have expected.
The ending is I think excellent, especially on the redemption arc. It is also a good ending to the full Dragon Age cycle in terms of Lore, so from that perspective I was OK.
Two items are in my opinion missing:
- Soundtrack download of WAV or FLAC files like in your other games. If I pay full price at 60 EUR, at least that should be thrown in.
- Party banter - lots more. Get your writers back, get them to write more lines, throw some money to the voice actors, and just include it in the next patch. For Origins there are 6 hours of party banter available, this here has an hour and a half tops. It cycles through so fast. I believe on my play through (I think I was on 70-80 hours total) some lines repeated as much as 8 times. For other games, I don't care. Bioware, no excuses there !
Now crossing fingers that Mass Effect becomes a good game again, after a 4/10 for this game plus 2 extra points for the final 15 minutes and putting the arc leading up from DAI & Trespasser so well to a good end.
