No multiplayer like Inquisition, No buy.

Baffling they would get rid of the better part of Inquisition. Even the last two Mass Effect games had a COOP mode which had a die-hard community for them. While not as popular maybe, it still had a healthy population and a great amount of fun. So much so, I never even beat the campaign as I enjoyed the COOP mode a lot more.

Anybody saying it would have taken the so called precious "resources" away, are full of it. Yes, even Bioware themselves. We're talking about one of the biggest developers in the Industry, backed by one of the biggest gaming companies. If they were an Indie team I'd have been understood.

A shame, really.

I'm kind of glad they didn't waste resources on an MP mode.

DA games are story-driven single-player RPGs, which is why they are so popular.

Hi @holger1405, I agree. Not everything needs a MP or Co-op mode. DAI MP was fun. I still play every now and then but I play these games because of the story. We have enough MP games out there and not enough story-driven games as we used to imo.

  • I believe the live service market is oversaturated, and BioWare/EA may have deemed a multiplayer mode not worth the time and cost.

  • While I enjoyed the Mass Effect multiplayers, the one for Inqusition was terrible.
