[PC] Game Randomly Crashing In Different Areas of The Game

The shaders cache you need to clean are generated by system, leave the one from game location intact.

Copy the following code and paste it in a .bat file (notepad is perfect for this job) on desktop (or any other location)

Restart the computer and execute the .bat file. Restart the game and you should notice the shaders recompilation process. That is all.

Does .bat execution gives any error? If not, most likely it was executed.

The execution of .bat file is so fast you don't even see the console window pop up. For confirmation to see if the .bat file does the job: open a Explorer window and paste this on address box

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\D3DSCache\

 If the .bat does the job, there won't be any content on that location.

In my case there are lots of shaders stored just to see how the cache looks like - bunch of numbers and letters.

@sunwisecircles Here is a breakdown I pulled directly from your DxDiag. There are quite a few errors. The main thing is to make sure that if you have an SSD, the game and the EA app or Steam are both on that.

Here is a detailed breakdown of the Windows Error Reports you provided, along with troubleshooting steps for each - If you pull up the file, you can do a ctrl + F and type in Windows Error Report and it will take you directly to it. 

WER1 - RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64

• Description: This error occurs when Windows detects a possible memory leak in the application (Dragon Age The Veilguard.exe).
• Troubleshooting Steps:
  1. Update the Game: Ensure the game is fully up-to-date.
  2. Lower Graphics Settings: Memory leaks can be exacerbated by high resource usage.
  3. Check Memory: Use Task Manager to monitor RAM usage while the game runs.
  4. Disable Background Applications: Close non-essential applications to free up system memory.
  5. Run as Administrator: Launch the game with elevated permissions.

WER2 - APPCRASH (GalaxyClient Helper.exe)

• Description: The GalaxyClient Helper (part of GOG Galaxy) crashed due to an issue in KERNELBASE.dll.
