These are some amazing suggestions! I totally get where you’re coming from, and I agree—adding more nuanced character creation and deeper story branches would make the game so much more immersive and replayable. Honestly, I think this is the biggest reason behind most of the critique.
That said, to me, this feels like it would turn the game into something entirely new. The amount of rewriting, reworking dialogue, and adding systems to support all these choices would be monumental. It’s not just a patch or an update—it’s practically building a whole new game on top of this one.
Don’t get me wrong, your ideas are fantastic and would be incredible to see in a future Dragon Age title. But for The Veilguard as it stands now, it feels like a massive change that would be tough to implement without redoing the game entirely.

Hello elajt_1,
Thank you! I really appreciate your thoughtful response. I completely understand where you're coming from—it would indeed be a monumental task to implement changes like these into The Veilguard as it stands now. You're absolutely right that it would essentially require building a whole new game on top of the existing one, which makes it an unrealistic expectation at this point.
But hey, a girl can dream! 💭
My suggestions were, yes, partly a dream, but also about imagining how choices and character creation could deepen immersion and replayability in future Dragon Age titles. I agree that implementing them here would be a massive undertaking, but I hope the developers consider these kinds of ideas moving forward. If not for The Veilguard, then hopefully for the fifth game or other projects down the line!
Fingers crossed for more impactful choices in the future! 🤞
