Veilguard Language
Good afternoon! Player from a non-English speaking territory here, I would like to ask a question regarding the game's language options.
Back when Inquisition launched, I bought the game digitally and installed it on my computer, and discovered that while the spoken language of the game was English, all of the subtitles and text were in my local language, specifically Portuguese, and that this could not be altered in any way (something that is true to this day; I can go into the options menu right now, find the text language option, and the only language displayed there is my local language), despite the files for the other languages still being present in my computer, in the installation files. I asked about this to support at the time and was told that this was not changeable in any way, and the only way to get the game with English text would be to buy a physical copy of the game from an US or UK retailer, leading my problem to remain unsolved.
My question is: will the digital version of Veilguard allow me to change the text and subtitle language to any of my choosing? I would much prefer playing through the game with English voice and text than in my local language, and being unable to do so could be a dealbreaker for me.
