Like the title says.
When I get to this screen and I try pressing anything on my mouse or keyboard it just plays a sound but nothing happens.
Ok, I seem to have found the problem.
The game is being recognized as malware. If I turn off all protection I can get past the Press Any Button screen.

Same here. I get a 'woosh' but nothing else.
Tried K&M and X-Box Controller. No joy.

That REALLY is on EA's fault for not having it be an exception.
Didn't work for me, I disabled Windows defender and still can't pass 'press any button' screen.
Similar issue to me except its stuck on connecting to online services after clicking continue to link account

Just Steam, Discord and Opera web browser. Tried to start the game with only Steam running but problem still occurs.
Same issue here. Turned off all protections, testing it w different controller devices, turning off all background programs, no dice. At this point the worst part is having to sit here and watch the compiling shaders percentage slowly climb before I can see if my changes are doing anything.
