Was playing through the game as normal and suddenly I can't interact with certain objects in the crossroads- namely so far, Evanuris Altars, Fen'Harel Altars and one of those big chests. I don't know what changed, but they're not glowing to open/use them and there's no interactable button. I've tried reloading the save and leaving the area then coming back and nothing is fixing it.Earlier in the game they were working.edit: it's not JUST in the crossroads, it's everywhere.

Ok I uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game. I just finished Weisshaupt and thus far everything seems to be working. There are some new minor bugs like no beds at the veil jumper camp. The sick are just laying in air but as for interacting with chests, statues, etc it's WORKING!!!! Better late than never EA. Thanks.

Patch 3 didn't fix this problem for me. Started a new run (for probably the 7th time) and as soon as I finished the Ossuary quest everything broke again. I was frustrated before, now I'm just over it. They didn't even mention this bug in their patch notes. Wish I could get my money back instead I'm reminded it's not a good idea to buy EA or BioWare games anymore because you will get screwed.

  It was literally right in the patch notes:
  Fixed instances where Rook forgot they already had the lyrium dagger and could not interact with treasure chests and altars.

  I’ve 1.000.004 installed and the altar at Converged City beneath the snake statue doesn’t function at all. Weirdly, the Crossroads map says I’ve discovered 3/5 statues but only 2 are marked on my map.
  
  I now think the non operational / non interactable ones are ones I’ve done, but they don’t all appear on my local map; only older ones. It’s very odd.

    Statue markers disappear from your map once you've done them. So those two on your map are ones you still have to do.

  Welp, started a new game and as soon as I finished The Labs Below I started having the same problems. Books behind the library table have disappeared. Fen'harel staues and Evanuris states can't be interacted with. Have yet to find a special armor chest to test but based on everything else I'm guessing those too. Patch didn't fix any of these problems. This really sucks.

Latest patch fixed the bug i went back to my older saves just to check and see if I could open unique chests and altars and they all worked. So glad this issue has been fixed.

Hi.
After today's patch, the dagger works again for me. In the save after the battle of Weisshaupt, which was buggy before. Hope the same for everyone affected.

Not at home so can’t check this myself but patch 3 dropped and one of the fixes was

I finished the game with the last 25% bugged and could not open the big chests or interact with the wolf statues, etc... so I missed out on a LOT of items. I just started a new game and kept saving about every 10 min just in case. The same "no dagger" bug hit me around act 3. Immediately I tried loading my previous save, (which was a "good" save at the time that I made it), but somehow it also had become bugged. I kept trying every save in order working my way backward in the load a save list but they all had changed from "good" saves to "bad/bugged" saves. I had to go back about 10+ saves before I got to where the dagger showed up again. Fortunately I only lost about 1 hr+ of playing. Now I'm saving about every 5 minutes just to be really thorough! :)

I have completely different suspicions. I don't feel like starting the game over again for the fourth time. If someone could check if the fault lies with the box we get with new clothes/armor, which appears next to the Workshop in the Lighthouse. And my next suspicion is getting wolf statuettes.
I'm currently checking to see if this error will go away when I reach the point of no return. Up to this point, I am not doing any side missions and I am not collecting champion essences.
My first thought about this bug is the game version. I don't know about others, I use the EA Play Pro version.
I use a translator - please be understanding xP
Edit:
After finishing the mission in Weisshaupt, I was able to use the dagger. So far, I have "cleared" all available locations and companion missions.
The only missions I don't do are those related to wolf statues and the Crossroads missions related to champion essences.
My conclusion: the problem is the activities we perform at Crossroads.
EA - maybe this will help you fix the problem faster.

  Can confirm it is not the Mass Effect or Premium DLC chest. As I have both used and not used them and still got the same issue

  It's not the clothing chest, I've used it on my current save and have yet to experience the bug. It's also not the game version, there are players on this thread who are on consoles, I'm on Steam, it doesn't seem to affect the bug at all. I'm hoping since the modding tools have been released, some modder will fix it, since EA doesn't seem to care.
