Character Creation blinding me, Hair is made of sparkles

when I load into the character creator, I am greeted by a bright white light and cannot see any of the rooks. i can fully interact with the UI, choose customization options. If i change the scene to ...

Having the same issue! Drivers are updated, minimum specs are met. I turned off bloom and it helped me be able to see the Rook presets standing in the menu, but everything else looks bright and white behind them. Hope there's a solution soon!
