Cities and crowds having trouble loading in after 1-2 hours game time
Hi there,
Just want to say I am enjoying what is overall an amazing experience!
However I am noticing some visual bugs in PC ( my partner on PS5 in a experiencing similar).
Even on low settings, experiencing a lot of popping in happening in asset heavy areas - Minrathous and Treviso have been the worst offenders so far. Buildings not fully loading in as you go through an area, crowds just appearing beside us, speaking to invisible NPC's who were there and then disappear in dialogue. We have fallen through that wood bridge in Minrathous, or the entrance area very regularly...
It only seems to be affecting the really asset heavy areas, even places like the Crossroads are very stable and environments look gorgeous, but the cities the game really seems to struggle. I thought was maybe just my PC ( which hasn't had any issues with other recent releases, though the i7 and Nvidia 2080 aren't near as top of the range as they were when I first built the PC, all drivers up to date ) but when my partner started saying they noticed the same on their PS5 copy thought might be worth mentioning.
Also having that bug where I load a save and my characters face has defaulted to one of the generics in the character creator, or playing a qunari the face paints don't always show their true colours, and sometimes I end up looking bright blue and red in a conversation or cut scene until I restart or remove the face paints and reapply a few times.
Overall great game, and if those could be looked at to see if there's anything that could be done to help those areas, as they're amazing when all working but the sudden appearance of a building around me is a little immersion breaking.
