When I click tab for the ability wheel and choose the desired ability I wish to cast it doesn't do the action I want it to. This problem is currently barring me from delving further into the story, seeing how I need Bellara to deactivate the artifacts .. but it doesn't work. I'm stuck at the Abandoned Camp area after 7 hours of playing, I only passed the first two artifacts because I spammed Bellara to fix it before she finally did.

Are you manually closing the ability wheel after selecting an ability? This was a point of confusion for the player in this thread.
When you use the ability wheel with a mouse and keyboard, you have to press tab to open it, click the ability, then press tab again to close the wheel. That last part is important, since the ability won't be cast immediately after clicking it. You need to make sure to manually close the wheel after there's a green tick over the ability icon.
If you are using it correctly and are still not able to progress, could you capture and share a video of the issue?
Edit: The user in this thread had the issue where exiting the menu also didn't work, but they managed to fix it by restarting their PC, then repairing the game / verifying game files. In Steam, right click the game, go to properties, installed files, then verify integrity of game files. On EA App, you do this by clicking the three dots on the game, then clicking Repair.
Yes, I am having the same Problem interacting with the Ability Wheel. I cannot activate it by clicking on it, there for I cannot move forward in the game. This is a big Problem for EA because now people who buy your game can't even play it.
Please hurry up and patch your mistake.!
