Controller support and Keyboard issues

Question

This game is on Xbox, but the only supported controller on PC is the PlayStation controller? I have moves that need the spacebar on M&amp;K and none of them work, so I figured I would try my controller, but noooooooo

Now I am on my profile with the game on it. I seriously don't understand the lack of Xbox controller support.
