Crash Report: Computer Shuts Off and Resets

I will be playing and all of a sudden my monitors and computers shut off and proceed to restart.

Examining the crash log myself it appears to be an issue when the game calls to The GPU and The GPU is like nah bro... and freaks the hell out.

    Hi   Messoram_Lupus

Thanks for letting us know what you're running into with Dragon Age The Veilguard, would it be possible to grab a DxDiag file?

Also, when you have a moment give the following a try:

    1. Run the System File Checker toolthen Check for Windows and GPU updates
    2. Default your PC to the dedicated Graphics card: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
    3. If an option is available, try capping your frame rate. You can also enable Vertical Sync (V-Sync) to match your frame rate to your display’s refresh rate.
    4.  To repair the game files in the EA app, go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
    5. Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
    6. Perform a clean boot of your PC to disable background tasks that may interfere with your game.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the response EA_Illium (I apologize for my late response).

I have attached my DxDiag file.

Even after the latest update I'm still encountering these crashes. I'll continue to mess around with my in-game settings, to see if anything fixes the issue.

I have tried capping my frame rate to 60 to see if that helps, and it might(?), however even with a capped 60 I'm still encountering issues. My crash log I attached, in my original post may not be useful. When my entire PC resets when playing Veilguard it doesn't save a crash log sadly. Wish I could provide more useful info.

If you have any other questions let me know. Thanks!

EDIT: So I turned off the strand hair feature and so far that seemingly has stopped any crashes/PC resets. If I have another PC reset with it off, I'll update this post again. Thanks.

EDIT: I have been crashing (PC restart/reboot) even without the hair stands being on. My game is sadly semi-unplayable, game reboots my PC every 5-20 minutes or so. Seemingly worse after patch one as well.

Gonna try lowering the graphics and see what happens. Hopefully this is fixed soo, so i can actually play the game:)
