Crashing on Series X

I've been attempting to play the game since launch, but have had varying success. I first started having consistent issues when you first encountered the Darkspawn, the game would freeze and kick me back to the dashboard. I've finally made it past that point, but now I'm stuck at meeting the Mayor. I can't make it through the dailogue or the cutscene without MAJOR artifacting and crashing. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game 4 times at this point. Cleared my cache. Hard reset and unplugged the console for ~5 minutes. Factory reset the console. Nothing has worked and I'm just about to give up on this game entirely. I've included a picture of what I'm seeing. I'm playing using a physical copy if that means anything. No other games are having this issue and the console isn't running any hotter than normal.
